Your Pet's Nanny is also referred to as: "Your Pet's Nanny", "YPN", "Us", "Our", or "We." The Client is also referred to as: "Client" "You", "Your", "Pet Owner", "Owner", "My", "He", or "She."
We agree to come to your home when hired by you, the Client, and will provide good, quality pet care for your pets as requested by the Client. Fresh food and water, cleanup and disposal of pet waste*. TLC and human companionship, daily updates via text or email. Additional services are available, additional charges may apply. We do not offer dog walking. A nonrefundable deposit,
equivalent to one pet sitting visit, is requested to hold your dates of service. Visit times may vary. We reserve the right cluster our appointments geographically and arrive either one hour before or after the scheduled appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service.
We will take your pet(s) to the veterinarian if medical care is necessary while you're away. Veterinary services are a separate contract between the Pet Owner and the Veterinarian's office and are the Client's financial and responsibility.
*Pet waste cleanup means scooping the cat's litter box and/or yard with owner provided cat scoop and/or pooper scooper, pet waste disposal bags or container. Litter tracking can be swept when you provide a tall broom and dustpan (up to a 6 foot radius from the litter box). Pet waste cleanup does not included washing/scrubbing/sanitizing cat boxes-litter scoop-or pooper scooper, vacuuming or mopping floors, or cleaning carpeting and/or rugs. However, we will do our best to spot clean or pretreat any soiled areas if you provide the necessary supplies required.
The Client will fill out our secure Client Info Form. It is our contract and gives permission to enter your home and property to care for your pets while you're away. You will be requested to update this form if and when your contact or pet's information has changed.
Pet owner will provide the pet's food, water, and supplies,** and make medical care available for your animals in case of a medical emergency.
**Pet supplies may include but are not limited to: Leash, pet collar, ID tags, pet carrier, pet food, water, pet's bowls and/or dishes, utensils, can opener, feeding instructions, pet medications and/or supplements, veterinary contact information, toys, brushes, pee pads, cat litter, pet waste removal tools and disposal bags, pet safe cleaners, rag towels for cleanup, paper towels, microchip and microchip company contact info, and any other information we need to give your pets the best care we can.
Pet Owner will reimburse Your Pet's Nanny for expenses that may be incurred in getting My pets the medical attention they require.
The Client will also make sure there is access to soap, warm/hot water to wash our hands, and a sponge to wash pet bowls and/or utensils. Please make sure there are some paper towels on the roll to dry our hands. (It's more sanitary to dry our hands on paper towels.)
The Client will make a back up entry plan available. This can be a lock-box with access to your key, provide a key at the meet and greet and access to a hide-a-key, or give two sets of keys to your home at the meet and greet.
Our preferred method to gain entry to your home is a lock-box.
Your Home's Security:
YPN is not a security provider and cannot be responsible for what may happen when we are not in your home, or when you allow others to enter your home while you are away. The security of your home is important. You are encouraged to have different service providers enter your home at separate times. This way, you can better monitor the people who are in your home while you are away. Make sure that the house is locked and secure as you leave. Check that the windows and doors are shut and locked. If you choose to leave windows open we cannot be responsible for damages that may be caused by inclement weather, theft, or burglary. It is in your best interest to place important papers or items of value in a locked room, a fireproof safe, or a locked box, off premises or in any other safe place that suits your needs.
Returned check or electronic payment fee:
A returned payment fee up to $35 (thirty-five dollars) may be charged if any check, other instrument, or electronic payment authorization you provide us is not honored on first presentment. Any payment received after the specified due date shall start to accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month and an additional $15 (fifteen dollars) per month will be added to any invoice 30 days past due. In addition, you will be liable to Your Pet's Nanny, Inc. for all costs of collection on unpaid invoices, including attorney's fees.
